Coping With His New Love

Having a hard time accepting the fact that she is being treated better than I was.
I was married for 32 years when my husband asked me for a divorce. Total shock to me and my family. At the end of the month it will be a year.
was doing fairly well until word got back to me about his new girlfriend. They moved in together after knowing each other for 2 weeks. Now they are getting married. I'm fine with that but just need some understanding on certain things I don't get. Things that I wanted to do with him he never wanted to, now he's doing them with her. He's very romantic with her and never was with me. He said he just didn't know how to be.
I've been through a lot with him but stood by his side no matter what. Why does she get better treatment than I did?

Reflections and Self discovery

It is possible that he realized what he did wrong in the relationship that he had with you and doesnt want to make the same mistake again. It's not that he's treating her better than he treated you, It's simply that he has moved on and has learned from his mistakes, that of which has made him better in his current relationship. Don't take offense by it, because I am sure he is not intending to be insulting towards you. Also, remember, things arent always as they seem from the outside looking in.
