benefits of the meeting with the father

Hi, I'm in the process of divorce and after the divorce our child will live with me but the court will assign him visits with our daughter and probably with overnight accommodation, so I'm interested in the following questions:
1 What days and at what time is it more suitable?
2 What are the pluses and minuses?
3 What is benefit for me to ask more or less meetings with the father?
Thanks for your answers in advance!

Hello

In my situation, My husband has a child with another woman from a previous relationship and we get her on friday afternoons and drop her off with her mom on Sunday afternoon. It works for us..and it sounds reasonable due to her going to school where her mom lives throughout the week.

a little advice though, dont tell the judge that you want the children to spend less time with the kids, he will look at you funny. maybe you can discuss the weekend thing with the father and inform the judge of that, they typically like it better when they dont have to do the enforcing of visitation rights
