An old bit of marriage advice from an old serial divorcee

When looking through an old dusty desk in the garage one day, I came across a twenty year old notebook I'd once used to diary my thoughts about marriage. The scribbled thoughts I read were my own from during my second marriage and they were quite interesting. For instance, I read where my lovely wife continued to knitpick over seemingly trivial occurances and I expressed this thought in the notebook: "Women are like porcupines, their barbed complaints like quills that once under your skin, are difficult to pull out."

I remember that marriage very well. I recall how, over time, I shrivelled from confident masculinity to doubtfullness, indecision, and thin-skinned defensive reactions. I had been "barbed" so frequently and continuously; I sought solitude, using any excuse, to avoid that porcupine and her weaponry.

Yes, when painful issues increase in your marriage, it is because you are suffering already and, for whatever reason, are unable to heal.

I have no answer for this condition. Or, perhaps, mine has always been divorce.

Marriage is unnatural

Man was not intended for marriage. The idea of one woman for a lifetime rubs against man's nature. No matter how beautiful, a woman will lose the attention of the man after time. We don't eat peas everyday for life. We should not confine ourselves to an unnatural ideal of one woman for life.

Old men with old limp dicks

Old men with old, dusty limp dicks NEVER want to marry. Know why? NOBODY wants them. Marriage is not what you don''t want but what you can't get.
